RC BURNS is a Singer/Songwriter, Bagpiper and Author of Short Stories and Novels. Inspired by the music of artists like John Prine, Steve Goodman, Stan Rogers and Gordon Lightfoot, RC  Burns has written a collection of original songs based on his own real life experiences and observations and recently released his first album, “Full Circle”.  

RC “Cecil” Burns grew up in Wasaga Beach Ontario and now makes his home in Kenora, a small city in Northwestern Ontario not far from the Manitoba border. He retired after a 40+ year career in Environmental and Energy Management.

In 2018, RC reconnected with his high school friend, award winning Producer JK Gulley and through the magic of the internet and some in-studio sessions, the album “Full Circle” was born. 

The first two singles charted well on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown with the title track reaching #4. His single "Rock of My Ages" is a beautiful tribute to his wife of over 44 years and would make a great addition to your Valentine's playlist.
